Paradigm was engaged to execute the control system works for two new Stackers and one Reclaimer for a substantial expansion at an existing mine site. The scope also included a functional safety upgrade to an existing stacker and reclaimer for a new anti-collision system.
Our scope was the control system design, programming, FAT, site commissioning and operational support for the new and existing machines, including interfacing to Stockpile Management and a SIL rated Anti-Collision systems. The project involved a large functional safety component for the software design and associated lifecycle documentation.
