Reliable and efficient
Established by CEO Garry McGrechan, who started Logitech in 1994 (which became ASX-listed Logicamms), the team at Paradigm has been providing innovative solutions to clients for over 14 years across Australia. In that time, we have built a reputation for being experts in our field. Whether PLC/ DCS programming or functional safety, we aim to provide efficient and repeatable outcomes.
We are an owner-operated company with a team of over 50 engineers. We are adept at taking on multiple and large-scale projects without sacrificing quality or service. Plus, we have a complete in-house electrical, instrumentation and controls department that believes in providing high-quality engineering services that are reliable and efficient.
Acquisition
In March 2024, Paradigm was acquired by Mipac, based in Brisbane, (a subsidiary of ASX listed, GR Engineering Services). This strategic move brings together a wealth of new capabilities, expertise, and value to both businesses.
Garry McGrechan retired in January 2026, with long-standing Paradigm employee Jacqui Hayward transitioning into the role of General Manager. Jacqui is an Electrical and Control Systems Engineer with substantial experience across Paradigm’s key areas of expertise and client base, providing strong continuity in leadership and service delivery. We are fortunate that Garry continues to support Paradigm Engineers as a consultant, sharing his extensive experience and expertise with both our team and clients.
The remainder of the Paradigm team has stayed on, and together with Mipac we now have a combined team of more than 180 engineers with a diverse range of experience and expertise. Our capabilities have also expanded to include areas such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Historians, Cyber Security, and other specialist engineering services.
