A major greenfields bauxite mining, processing and export facility was developed near Weipa in far north Queensland, Australia.
Paradigm Engineers was selected to undertake the control system design, programming, FAT and site commissioning of a Stacker, Reclaimer, Shiploader, as well as Anti-Collision, Shiploading and Stockpile Management systems.
The project included one of the first applications of a comprehensive functional safety approach by Paradigm Engineers to the software and hardware design of mobile machines and Anti-Collision systems.
